Stolly Community Guidelines
Last updated: November 2025
These Stolly Community Guidelines (“Guidelines”) explain the standards of behaviour and content that apply when you use Stolly. They are designed to keep the Stolly community safe, lawful and respectful, while allowing creativity and freedom of expression.
These Guidelines form an integral part of our Terms of Service (“ToS”) and are incorporated by reference. Capitalised terms not defined in these Guidelines have the meaning given to them in the ToS. If there is any conflict between these Guidelines and the ToS, the ToS will prevail to the extent of the conflict.
These Guidelines apply to all use of the Service, including but not limited to:
By using the Service, you agree to comply with these Guidelines.

If you are a Minor, your parent or legal guardian (“Parent or Guardian”) must review the ToS, these Guidelines and the Privacy Policy, and provide consent where required. For Users identified as Minors, we may apply additional protections, for example:

The Service provides tools to report content or behaviour that you believe violates these Guidelines, the ToS or applicable law. When you submit a report, you should provide enough information to identify the content and explain the issue (for example, the story title, link or User, and a brief description of the problem).
Consistent with the EU Digital Services Act (DSA), we operate notice-and-action procedures. When we receive a sufficiently precise and adequately substantiated notice, we will review it within a reasonable time and decide whether to:
If we remove or restrict your content or Account based on a perceived violation of law or our policies, we will generally provide you with a concise statement of reasons, unless:
Where required by law, we may cooperate with competent authorities, trusted flaggers and other entities designated under the DSA in relation to illegal content and systemic risk mitigation.
If we reasonably believe that your behaviour or User Content breaches these Guidelines, the ToS or applicable law, we may take one or more of the following measures, in our reasonable discretion:
We aim to apply enforcement measures in a manner that is proportionate to the severity, frequency and impact of the violation, taking into account context and any relevant legal obligations (including those under the DSA and local law).
If you believe that we have made a mistake in removing or restricting your content or Account, you may lodge an internal complaint using the in-app tools (where available) or by contacting us at stolly@stolly.app. We will review your complaint within a reasonable period and, where appropriate, involve a reviewer who was not responsible for the initial decision.
Stolly is used by people in different countries. Content that is legal in one jurisdiction may be illegal in another. We may restrict access to certain content in specific territories where local law requires us to do so, even if the content is allowed elsewhere on the Service.
These Guidelines are for information and compliance purposes only and do not constitute legal advice. Users are responsible for understanding and complying with applicable laws when using the Service.
We may update or amend these Guidelines from time to time, for example to reflect changes in law, regulatory guidance, our Service or our internal policies. Material changes will generally be notified via the app, website or other appropriate channels. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Guidelines.
